If you haven't had kids yet, how would you prefer to feed your baby? By breastfeeding or bottle feeding? Or perhaps both?

If you already have children, how did you feed them?

If you don't have children and don't want any, how do you feel about public breastfeeding? Do you think bottle feeding is better than breast feeding? What's your opinion?

Personally, I think I would breast feed although I really don't care which way I feed my child. I was breast fed for the first couple months of my life until the doctor told my mom to put me on a bottle since I wasn't gaining weight. They were worried that my mom wasn't lactating enough to give me nutrients that I needed. Of course, according to my mother's baby album of me, I had trouble with gaining weight all the way till I was four.

Other than the personal choice, I really don't care how women feed their babies. They can do it by breast feeding or by bottle feeding. Both of them were done to me, and I turned out all right.

I say - do what works for you and your baby. That's the best way to go. I think that if you are not for some reason totally repulsed or for some reason unable to breastfeed, you should at least give it a try. I actually loved breastfeeding (up to the point when the little one started growin her teeth ... I went from loving it to crying during the feeding and dreading the next time when she was hungry). I liked the closeness, I liked that I nursed her into sleep ... I just felt it was the right thing for us.

I just recommend a lot of lotions and stuff like that for your precious breasts in case you decide to breastfeed. <3
